Kman, that one will indeed not work. While anything is possible to fix, in this case I am not sure it makes much sense for me to spend significant time trying to counteract very specific thing this seller did: include contents of a previous listing. Seeing two listings in one, parser obviously got confused. So I regret to say that in this case Gixen will not be able to submit the bid. You can try an alternate service or jbidwatcher, but you may experience the same problem.
Or you could try explaining it to the seller and ask them to revise their listing so that the description does not match a normal eBay listing, they can still do that while they have no bids.

I agree you have found a problem, I'm sure Mario will be along later and will look into it for you. So I wouldn't loose hope that Gixen can be used for this one, yet.
I personally have not seen that happen before, as you say, it is because the seller has cut and pasted a previous auction into his description, that is an unusual thing to do.

Post subject: Current Bid Weirdness ...
Hi Mario
1) Awesome site. Many thanks.
2) I noticed that my Gixen snipe on Item 270660880685 shows the 'Current Bid' as being $2,000+ dollars ... when that is clearly not the case. As such, the snipe in Gixen is yellow and therefore, presumably, will not work. It seems that Gixen has picked up the Seller's reference (in his listing) to a previous listing that ended at the $2,000+ amount (as the seller has just cut and pasted the final page contents of that previous listing). Is there any way to counteract this strange phenomenon, or will this simply not work via Gixen, and willjust have to be a manual bid ... ?!
3) Have you seen this issue before (referring to 2) above)?!
Thanks & regards
K
