Hi support person, The current bid was .99. I entered $1.52 with an hour left in the auction. The auction closed with a high bid of $1.36, but it was not my bid. How did I lose when my bid was higher than the closing bid? I am using the paid version of GIXEN with both the main and mirror site bidding at 6 and 3 seconds. Very perplexing... I'm at least thankful that I didn't lose a more exclusive one of a kind item, but now how can I trust that GIXEN is going to bid on my behalf when it clearly failed to bid on this auction?
The bid increment in that range is 0.25:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/bid-increments.html
so eBay will have rejected your bid.
On eBay it is not enough to have a higher bid it must be at least one increment above the current price otherwise it is rejected.
I suggest setting a higher offset, that way you will more often have your bid registered before other snipers push up the price.
This is not a Gixen failure.

Post subject: How to lose an auction with the highest GIXEN bid...
Hi support person,
The current bid was .99.
I'm at least thankful that I didn't lose a more exclusive one of a kind item,
but now how can I trust that GIXEN is going to bid on my behalf when it clearly failed to bid on this auction?
