From the moment I made the changes, and turned the logging on, I no longer see a single case again. If someone experiences this again, please let me know.

Actually, I just got this on the Gixen page for auction 260805621844. I wouldn't have won but the bid was attempted and there is a "view details" button on Gixen. I clicked and it showed the message regarding the strike at Canada Post extra page (this via eBay.com target).
I use this seller a lot and he doesn't use Canada Post so hopefully you can look into this so I don't miss any of his auctions.
Thanks.

Has Canada got this new bidding screen in the overlay plains?
That might explain why it has no affect on Gixen, if the extra page(s) are only seen via dynamic page updates.

it is an additional page... maybe even 2 pages. I tried to place a bid and it took me 2 extra clicks/pages than normally would.

No - any such message on the listing itself is not a problem. If it were an additional page during the bidding process, it would be.

Post subject: Snipes for auctions in Canada may not work...
With the recent strike of Canada Post, eBay has prompted a warning message on all auctions located in Canada that says
"Dear Buyer!
Please be aware that shipments from Canada via Canada Post services may be significantly delayed due to a labor dispute. Shipments via UPS and other courier services are not impacted."
Well, this pops up after you hit "bid" but before you can "confirm" it adding an extra step to the bidding process. I dunno about gixen, but I hear other sniping programs/sites are having issues with this and as a result the bids aren't being placed.
Is this an issue here on Gixen?
