I too had the same problems mentioned here. I followed the directions and it worked like a charm then I woke up this am and discovered the same problem because I CHANGED MY PASS WORD AND LOGGED INTO AN OLD PAGE. After logging in with my correct password (new one created as instructed in the directions) I saw all my bids ticking away waiting to be won.
So the lesson for the day is....HUMAN ERROR is usually the first question you should ask yourself when dealing with computer programs!
I have been winning so many bids with this thing! I get to sleep in while Gixen is my little bidding slave! In fact you might want to change the name of Gixen to slave Bidder! LOL😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 |

| Yesterday I scheduled about 6 snipes (after I sent my email message to Mario) and they all worked correctly. I don't know what the problem was but it doesn't seem to be a problem anymore. So that's good. Thank you! |

| I just looked - it looks like you changed your password after scheduling snipes? If this is not so, please email me. |

I found some instructions for deleting specific cookies in Internet Explorer 10:
http://www.thewindowsclub.com/delete-internet-cache-particular-website
but that isn't particularly easy, and it may not be the same if you are using a different version of Internet Explorer.
I'd recommend deleting all your cookies... it really isn't that big a deal, honestly, they get regenerated automatically when you do need them.
The instructions are given on a need to know basis... so that it isn't over used... if you have deleted the link to them I recommend asking for them again from Mario direct via email at the support address given on the Contact tab above. |

I've been using Gixen for a few weeks and it has worked perfectly.
But this morning I had 4 snipes scheduled that didn't work. There was a message about a missing ebay verification code (or something close to that) and a link to a page with instructions for fixing it.
The instructions seemed a little complicated for me. I'm not a computer person; I'm an antiques (and therefore an ebay) person.
One of the first things the instructions said to do was to delete my eBay cookies. I'm using Windows and Internet Explorer. I found where I can delete all cookies on my computer but that seems a little extreme. How do I delete just the ebay cookies?
Also, I've closed the page with the instructions and don't know how to get back to it. Is there a link to it somewhere?
Thank you for your help and/or suggestions. |
