Once you have the Gixen socks proxy enabled, you are connecting to Ebay via the Gixen server when you access it in your browser. So you then need to attempt to do what Gixen is failing to do... place a bid... it should then become obvious why the automated system is not able to do the same, and you should get some sort of instruction from Ebay about how to verify your account with that proxy in place... Only once you have done all that is it worth scheduling any more snipes on Gixen. If you are not finding the blockage, perhaps it is intermittent?... Did both of you find all your snipes scheduled on Gixen failed with exactly the same error status?... or did a few get through?
If you are not having any issues submitting bids manually with the Gixen socks proxy enabled then I suggest you contact Mario direct via email at the support address given on the Contact tab above.
Please always include your Ebay id, and in this case examples of the auctions that have failed snipes for you. Also please refer back to this thread.

Thanks for the response.
All my Gixen snipes are failing with those same error messages. Both before and after I enabled the socks proxy. I've gone through the "fix" page 3 times and every snipe still fails. Once 1 snipe fails all my other snipes are then cancelled.
I have been manually entering my bids since Gixen started failing. I haven't had any issues with that. No captcha's or verification codes.

I am having the same issues for the last 24 hours. I verified with ebay and even called customer service and the verified my account. I now think the problem is being caused by my failing snipes.

Post subject: PHONE OR TEXT VERIFICATION REQUESTED BY EBAY
I see this topic has been posted before but it's been a while and none of those threads helped.
I've been getting this error the last 2 days (PHONE OR TEXT VERIFICATION REQUESTED BY EBAY or CANCELED - VERIFICATION CODE REQUIRED BY EBAY). I've gone through the instructions on fixing this issue 3 times and it is still happening.
I'm not getting any captcha's or login issue with my ebay account. The Gixen system says I'm connected to the Socks Proxy (whatever that is).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
