I think Mario has said before that about 1 in 300 snipes performed without the mirror service can and do fail for various internet related reasons. Other snipe services aren't immune to occasional timeout failures either - unless they have redundancy. To get that redundancy with gixen the charge is only $6.00 a year for the mirror service. <br /> <br />I'm not a high volume bidder. Regardless I have seen that login timeout error happen <span style="text-decoration: underline">once</span> on the main server, but the bid was placed successfully by the mirror server.
