Post subject: Placed first bid and then was outbid by less then increment
Hi,
I am new to auctions and I lost 2 of them so far after which I read about ebay bidding principles as well as sniping principles and I think I am familiar with it now except one unclear thing.
In my 2nd auction I was outbid by less then increment. That wouldn't be strange if there were (other) bids
before
I placed mine. However, there were no bids at all. I placed my bid in the amount same as starting bid (250,00 eur) and seconds before auction closed someone won with 251,00 eur bid although minimum increment was 5 eur.
How is that possible?
