The slowness affects only the user interface, snipes are executing fine.
I made an inquiry to my hosting provider, still waiting for their response. The problem is likely not on the servers themselves, it's a connectivity issue.

hi
there is still any problems to place bids? i remarked that the connection to gixen is already slow (very slow). so i afraid some of my bids won't be remplaced.
just want to know if i need to watch them, or let it go with gixen?

Chris,
My apology, this edit resulting in delete may have been an issue caused by timeouts in recent few days (as edit on Gixen is always delete + add).
I think I found the issue on misbehaving switch. I believe I fixed it now, but to be absolutely sure I will have to wait for the most active period of day to verify.
Again, my apology, I hope you can find a similar item again.

Post subject: bid
Thanks Mario. I increased to 153 and change and hit enter, guess it deleted instead of completed the edit. I'm sure I didn't click delete. I went back to the computer it was entered on, and it showed a refresh error on as the last gixen screen with that session. I could paste the exact text tomorrow when I go back if needed. The screen prior to that was the edit screen with the 151.** bid in red for editing. Thanks for taking the time to check. Still can't thank you enough for the service!
Have a good day,
Chris

Chris,
This snipe was deleted an hour and 12 minutes before auction end. Is it possible you forgot?

Post subject: Bid not placed, Deleted from list
Mario, first let me say thank you for all your work with gixen! Hiccups have been rare in my experience. Today I had a bid that was not placed. I looked back at my list, and it was gone. I had updated a bid about 1.5-2 hours prior to the end of the auction, #282108336060.
Not sure what happened with that one.
Thanks,
Chris
