Thanks Mark. I see what you mean. Perhaps it doesn't actually take payment from the card but is just asking for my preferred backup payment choice. Since no one else has come up with an answer, I'll probably have to try it and see.
Thanks Mark.
I see what you mean.
Perhaps it doesn't actually take payment from the card but is just asking for my preferred backup payment choice.
Since no one else has come up with an answer, I'll probably have to try it and see.

I've found that, with Paypal, even though setting up a potentially recurring payment requires that the backup of a bank account or credit card is required that when it comes to actually making the payment Paypal actually takes the funds from the balance when sufficient is available there.
I can't guarantee that is the case for you, it's from observation of how Paypal operates with other services.

Post subject: Paying for subscription with Paypal
Hi. I've been trying to pay to renew subscription through link in settings.
It takes me to Paypal but then only offers payment through bank or creditcard.
My question is why does it not let me use my Paypal balance to pay?
Thanks.
