There will be a record in the database... but only Mario has access to those records... That is partly why I asked what you thought you set it to, he might be able to find a record of that.
Yes, I think it is most likely that you did delete it at a later stage... no-one else has ever proven a snipe to really have 'disappeared'... and as you can gather there's been a lot of snipes scheduled on Gixen over the years... but if there is ever going to be such a problem I guess there has to be a first time.
If you really want him to look at the database records you can email him directly at the support address given on the Contact tab above. If you do I suggest you direct him to this thread so that he can answer here and everyone that reads it can be confident that a definitive answer has been given.

placed and edited on web, gixen site only.
Right. outbid was sent long before end of auction.
I believe I reset amount to 6, however I later saw no trace of the snipe in my account. Usuallly it would still be there.
I don't know if I deleted it at some point. Would there be a record of editing and deleting.

There does not seem to be any snipe bids placed on that auction so I imagine the outbid notice was one sent by Gixen as a result of having notifications enabled and one of the earlier bids placed pushing the price high enough that the previous amount would not have been sufficient for the bid to be placed by Gixen.
How was the snipe originally edited, was it via the web interface here, or via the Gixen Desktop Manager ?
What amount do you think you reset it to be ?

Did you only place your bid(s) via gixen?
If you received an outbid notice regarding a gixen snipe there would have been no way to modify your snipe and have it bid again in the last few seconds of an auction.

Hi,
thanks for the great work.
I had a notice about being outbid, then edited the amount.
After it had ended, today there was no sign of the snipe on the site or messages via email.
I entered it a few minutes ago again as a test, just to see if it's there, then deleted it.
