Thanks guys. Yes, I create my snipes manually on the gixen website. It was scheduled. Oh well! Who wants yellow sneakers anyway?
I hope eBay fix it soon.

eBay is working on getting this fixed. Not sure how they will do it - but active auctions on which bids cannot be placed make no sense.

It's the same error text as was reported on
this
thread.
In that case you couldn't actually add the snipe at all though, in this case were you able to add the snipe ?... The processing is different after the auction has ended, so now I can't find out whether or not I would have been able to in this case.
It's not a very informatory message though, so it would not surprise me if it actually arose from different underlying issues.
It's another thing that Mario will need to look into further, behind the scenes.

Post subject: Bid not placed - ebay error?
If I am not mistaken this is the first time Gixen has failed to snipe for me. The message I get in gixen is "There was a problem with an eBay internal system or process".
Obviously this is non-specific but does anyone know what it might be? Gixen won another auction with a successful snipe only two days ago and I had re-authorized gixen on my ebay account about two weeks back.
