Now and then, I am looking for a particular item (or several) over an extended period of time. I don't need it right away and want to get a good deal. So I have an ebay search running and repeatedly I go through the search results and add whichever offers fit. These may be several tens of offers at a time.
The price I am willing to pay usually depends on a combination of the item's condition, the shipping costs and the risk level I associate with the seller's history, the payment options (paypal guarantee or similar) and the shipping options (tracking/insurance). The results may vary from day to day and over the course of time.
If I take the time to evaluate an Item and place a snipe and happen to already have evaluated the same offer earlier on, I want to be able to immediately compare my bids and decide which one to go with. As it is right now, I need to copy the item number, go to my gixen listings, paste/find the item/bid, compare, press edid, scroll, do the edit and save. This is all very tedious and completely breaks the flow of evaluating a large number of offers in a row.

Hi Mario,
could you please put this on the request list regarding your "eBay Connect 2020" email?
Thanks,
moishe

Post subject: autosnipe: Sorry, this item is already present.
Hi Mario,
once in a while I try to add an item a second time and - naturally - am told "Sorry, this item is already present.". I get the message. :-)
Anyhow, it would be great to ge more than just that plain message:
I would love to have the current bid entry displayed and compared to the bid entry I just tried to enter. This would alert me ifI came to a different evauation last time around.
A bonus would be to be able to edit the entry on the spot.
Thanks,
moishe
