I just won an auction; I bid a lot ($140) > current high bid for the 8 hours prior to the end of the auction. My bid was the max I was willing to pay; slightly > 50% of actual value (item was new; open box). Another bidder bid w/in $25 of my Gixen Snipe < 10 seconds or so before the end.... (might have also been a snipe, given the timing). So, I won - BARELY. Rule: DO bid the max you are willing to pay if you really want to win. Note: main = 6; mirror = 5
Post subject: Maximum I wanted to Pay Won - Barely!
