In terms of whether or not Gixen will place the bid at that time, when it is possible to do so, yes it is. In terms of whether it's more likely or not to win, is a different question though. That entirely depends on the circumstances of the actual auction in question. More specifically, it is more likely to be blocked by Ebay due to the bid increment rule and other late bids having raised the price to within one bid increment of what you are willing to pay, but is less likely to allow time for a different bidder to react to your bid having been placed. With respect to placing a manual bid yourself, note that Ebay only allows one bid, of the same amount, to be placed by a single account on a specific auction. So, again specifically, that means if you intend to bid the same amount as your snipe bid, manually, then if you successfully place it before Gixen does you effectively block Gixen from doing so, and if Gixen places the bid first you will find that you won't be able to place that same bid from your own computer.
Post subject: is a 2 second snipe reliable
hi, is a 2-second offset reliable? I would be placing a manual bid as well. Thanks
