I haven't looked into this to any great extent... haven't Ebay provided any way to register your proof of age with the account that is in your name ?... Or do they insist on re-verifying you on every occasion that you bid on a restricted item ?... if so, what verification process are they using and how long does it take you, typically ?

Just found out that hedge trimmers are included in this restriction. Has anyone managed to snipe an item of this type? Rather stupid really as its going to zero to solve the knife problem in the uk especially if the hedge trimmer is mains powered!!
