Personally, I find that the time is much better spent doing research as to what things are worth, and therefore knowing what amount I'm prepared to snipe at... that, to me, is the whole point of sniping; not worrying about what others are doing on any particular auction and hence potentially ending up paying too much.

As an aside, on auctions listed by 'private' i.e. non business accounts, Ebay is reporting auction prices without the buyers premium included, which can cause some confusion... but given that Ebay themselves display (and handle) it differently, for the same auction, between .co.uk and .com, it's not really clear what Ebays' long term strategy even is on this, so it's not really worth Gixen sorting it out properly, at this stage.

When you say 'Refresh' do you mean the button on the snipes page, which is designed to populate the page with the most up to date data held by the Gixen server, or the browser function which just resubmits the same page ? Worst case the browser function can end up causing multiple unwanted updates to snipes, so I'd advise NOT to use that on Gixen,[/quote]
