The bid you enter will be interpreted as being an amount in the currency of the auction. So, if you enter 56.01 on an auction with price in GBP, then your bid will be GBP 56.01.

Post subject: when bidding on a non $ (UK GBP) item?
Hello - I'm bidding on an item from the UK but listed in US auctions - price is in GBP. When I enter a bid, am I entering in GBP or US dollars which will translate in my snipe? Thanks!
