Changing your Ebay password will generally remove the authorisation that you provide Gixen to bid on Ebay on your behalf.
You should therefore renew it using the second section of the Settings page as described in this blog:
https://www.gixen.com/blog/ebay-third-party-authorizations/
As far as Ebay messages go, yes that's a matter for them, it could however be related to your internet service provider changing your IP address periodically.

Post subject: Ebay internal problem
I keep getting messages 'A new device is accessing your account'. I changed my password as requested and instantly get another same message. I rang Ebay who acknowledge they have a problem and are searching for it, they will contact me when resolved but advise account is secure and safe. It seems this same problem is unlinking my Gixen account as well, I just changed my Gixen password and received another Ebay message saying the same thing ' A new device etc'.
