Disadvantage: None. You have to authorize Gixen on eBay to bid on your behalf, but you can withdraw that authorization at any time.

Agreed, that is legacy language related to a now very old and discontinued implementation, and should be removed.

FYI, your why snipe contains:
Disadvantage: You may feel uneasy about sharing your eBay username and password with a third party. There is no way around it, as online sniping services need your login info in order to submit a bid for you.
You now use a token, so it's no longer a disadvantage.
