As Mark said, it's normal and expected that only one server will be able to place a bid (the first one that gets there). Occasionally it can happen that they both place a bid (if snipes arrive exactly at the same time), but this is an exception, not a rule.
As for the "ENDED" status - it was originally "HIGH BIDDER" on one server, and "BID UNDER ASKING PRICE" on the other, which is what it should be. Then you deleted this (completed) snipe, and re-entered it again. This is why you see "ENDED" status, as that's no longer the original (winning) snipe.

You're right only Mario can look into the first bit... but

It's quite normal for the bid from one server to prevent the other from bidding as a second bid at the same price is rejected by eBay, its only when the bids from the two servers arrive at exactly the same time that both are registered... so thats quite possibly why you only got one bid this time.

Post subject: "ENDED" on a winning bid
Hi Mario,
A bid I won the other night was represented on both servers as ENDED, with no indication that I indeed, did win it. It also appears that only one server was able to get the bid in. Might you be able to enlighten me as to what happened? Thanks.
