Good luck Judy, hopefully another pair of shoes just as nice will show up in the listings.

Post subject: Bid (not) under asking price
Hi Mario,
Thanks for explaining. Long story but I did try to buy the shoes with the BIN price but I couldn't because the seller ticked 'immediate payment' without specifying international postage. Ebay went into a loop and I had no way to make the payment. So I had no choice but to bid on the item. And because I REALLY wanted the shoes, I went higher than the BIN price. What a disaster! Anyway, thanks for getting back to me so quickly and keep up the good work - much appreciated!
Cheers, Judy.

Judy, I just replied to your email. Unfortunately, your bid was above the buy-it-now price, and ebay did not allow it. The status was not reported properly (due to recent text change on the page), and I just fixed this for all the future auctions.
It's quite unfortunate, I hope you can find a similar item again. In the future, if there is a buy-it-now price, do not bid above it, it won't go through (unless if it's a disappearing buy-it-now that goes away after first bid is placed).

Post subject: Bid (not) under asking price
Hi Mario,
Firstly - sorry, I sent you an email before posting here.
Secondly - I love Gixen and until toady it's worked brilliantly for me - thank you!
But today - I'm disappointed. I placed a snipe of USD $40.90 for ebay item number 280586857672 (ebay id hay.jude). But Gixen didn't place my bid. The auction finished and the item sold for USD $24.03. Clearly way under my maximum bid. Why didn't Gixen (Main OR Mirror) place
my bid? And just to rub salt into the wound, I'm told that my bid was under the asking price. Which it wasn't.
What happened here? I'm not happy to have missed out on this item.
Cheers, Judy.
