Post subject: Gixen on "sweetsiteoftheday.com"
From time to time, I search for "Gixen" on search engines, and this is how I stumbled upon
http://www.sweetsiteoftheday.com
and saw that Gixen was "the site of the day" yesterday, July 3rd.
Before this, I never heard of this site before, so I looked it up on Alexa.com. It looks like it launched only couple of months ago, and it's already ranked around 74k or so. If you are a webmaster, you probably know that this is an amazing success. For comparison, Gixen is, after almost a year, ranked only around 230k.
Why did this site make it? The only explanation I can offer is defficiencies of search engines. They are automated tools that obviously cannot replace human insight.
