As time ticked down I decided to bid more but didn't think I had time to edit my Gixen bid so I bid myself with under 10 seconds remaining. I knew it was possible to be raising my own bid but decided that would be OK. <br /> <br />Turns out my manually entered bid won the item for less than my Gixen bid. The numbers: First bid (not mine) $155.77. My Gixen bid: $181.99. My manually entered bid $228. I won the item for $158.27. <br /> <br />The Gixen bid was not made and the reason listed is "Bid under asking price", which isn't correct. <br /> <br />What happened?
