| For a definitive answer you are probably best asking Ebay themselves since it will be their software that has rejected your bid, not anything Gixen has implemented. Gixen just reflects the response that it gets back from Ebay when it tries to submit your bid.
However, I have seen this issue occurring with cutlery before, and it's likely because that category includes 'knives', and indeed there are some in the set you reference. Now, I know that is not the sort of knives that buying regulations and restrictions are designed to apply to, however Ebay has automated systems that don't yet have the sense that we as humans do. Ebay is also regulated by local legislation in all the areas where sales are made, so they have no choice but to restrict bidding on certain items, and in this case are probably required to verify your age before you will be able to bid on items in that category. I'd recommend either contacting Ebays' customer services directly or just attempting to bid manually on similar items until they prompt you for the verification that they probably need and then just follow the instructions that they present you with then. Once you've gone through that process with this account you should be once again good to go with scheduling snipes here on Gixen for similar items. |

| I wanted to bid on some cutlery - 256041434464 - and had bid high enough to win this, but on checking this morning, found that my bid did not get done with the message You are not eligible to bid on this item.
