As for the second question - the price is increasing over time, but I typically keep the same rate for users that they had at the time when they subscribed. It's a sort of way to thank users for supporting Gixen over the years, as the real (inflation-adjusted) rate drops this way (by staying nominally the same).

The price of a new subscription does rise over time, once set up the price remains the same for that subscription though... So people with older (grandfathered) subscriptions pay less, forever. That's a result of a system set up, as I previously indicated, whereby payments are forwarded by the payment processor not requested by Gixen.

With that in mind, you must have some relationship with Stripe for them to continue to send payments on your behalf, whether or not they are sending you emails, or you are receiving them... It might be a good idea for you to try to contact them directly in order to sort out how you can also improve the relationship that you have with them.

not sure I understand? both? I had only one payment made through stripe this year?

as I said, stripe doesn t send any emails at all after payment /debit was made, and I can t find anything on their website how to stop the recurrent payment?
how am I supposed to cancel it as otherwise this is going to happen again next year?

Gixen sends the same emails for stripe payments, not sure why you haven't received them.

Both Stripe payments are now refunded. I recommend you use paypal in the future. If you want the same (grandfathered) pricing for the future subscription payments please let me know.

and stripe actually doesn t send any notifications either when a payment is made to you (as opposed to Paypal), so that s not good either, which is the reason I only noticed the 2nd payment one month later on the cc slip

yes but you are company aren t you ? you never sent any invoice of any (I had to beg mario to send me one that he did MANUALLY (not even an invoice number???) nor email of payment received from gixen, which is THE reason why I only noticed now on my cc slip that the payment had been dont twice

why doesn t you system also recognize if a payment is made twice, especially since you send an mail saying that the membership is about to expire but yet don mention anything about the recurring subscription (means automatical renewa which would have prevented me to pay directly with paypal first)

I dont have a stripe account for paying fees like yours? didn t your system automatically forward me to stripe when I wanted to pay with CC? I went to stripe and couldn t find anything realted to any gixen subcription there? the fees you charged me on feb23 doesn t even show there

I was charged twice for 2026, I wrote mails to Mario who is not answering any of these???

I first paid direclty with paypal (95N36705G5487105U), in the past I had issues with payment and the recurring subscription and wasn t aware the the recurring payment was still active, which means that another payment was again directly debited a couple of days later from the stripe payment (vĂ­sa cc) --> sub_1QvMJEH3UtQxmdJJN0Q2mtcM

a major issue on gixen that no one gets any official invocie from you and of course absolutely no email stating that the subscription was reactivated, even less the system having double charged!

Please refund the difference, also how can one deactivate the recurring subsscription, I see no links on the setting to be able to do this
