| For some auctions, eBay will not allow bidding over the buy-it-now price. For others, this is possible (I assume only for those whose buy-it-now feature is disabled after first bid is placed). | |

| I used gixen to place a bid but I put my bid in for a few dollars over the buy it now price.
The dress had no bids on it for a starting price of $49.99 and a buy it now of 79.99. I was willing to pay the buy it now price but of course would rather get it cheaper. Anyway, Gixen did not even bid. All it says is "BID ABOVE BUY IT NOW PRICE". I did write the seller and she did relist and sell it to me, but why didn't it work? Thank you. |
