It's not enough that your bid is higher, it has to be higher for a certain increment. Please see http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/buy/bid-increments.html and you will understand. Your bid obviously came after the winning bid, possibly a fraction of a second after. This is why my personal favourite bid offset is 8 seconds. |
