It's unicode characters (such as pound symbol) - Gixen database does not support them, hence this error. I'll see that I fix this by filtering unicode characters out.

You may be using constructs that can be interpreted as Spam, it is unfortunately necessary to prevent such constructs otherwise this forum gets inundated with off topic, irrelevant posts. You are also not permitted to post links/URLs.

More likely though you are using characters that cause PHP (the software that is used to provide these forums) problems... I've had this problem if I try to use certain monetary characters and/or quote symbols, I know this is frustrating, but the PHP software is not perfect, its provided by an outside organistion though so it would be very difficult for Mario to 'fix'.
