In order to reduce the load on the Gixen servers, Gixen does not keep price information current. Rather, it updates price information as a batch process every hour or so. As you've already noticed, eBay is the appropriate place to keep track of the current price.
This does not affect sniping, since Gixen simply submits the bid you entered to eBay regardless of the current price. Reliably submitting bids seconds before the auctions close is Gixen's job; keeping track of the current price and other auction data is eBay's job. |
