Ah yes that would do it !

I once had an American seller, that I was talking to via email about a valuable item, give me a really good deal on the shipping (the item was large)... only problem was that the auction ended an hour before he made the offer... he thought that my being in the UK I could still bid on his auction as the time was later in the USA than in the UK, he thought he might get a better price than eBay was already telling him his item had sold for.... Yes, he was wrong on many counts I know, but you can see how such a misconception could arise if you dont know exactly how eBay works.

Well, from what I can see, you entered your snipe more than three hours (!) after this auction ended.

The auction end time is: Sat Apr 25 06:26:40 2009 PDT

You entered your snipe on Sat Apr 25 09:30:16 2009 PDT.

Absolutely. Fats Theus vinyl record.

As the ended price is far less than my planned snipe, I wonder what (not) happened

Chris,

The auction number was 280335402285, your snipe amount was 60 USD and you entered the snipe via the French language section of Gixen, correct?

This has nothing to do with Cookies, I know that.

Hello
I put a snipe yesterday for an auction ending this morning... but I discovered this morning that Gixen did not bid. Reading one of the very last posts, I realize that it might be a cookies problem. Is that really the only reason I get the window pictured here :
(3W) mediafire.com/?sharekey=ce7e72d00ea3583ba0f2f20c509059d9e04e75f6e8ebb871

?

Anyway I'll verify tomorrow whether the cookies were enabled (I currently use another CPU).
Best,
Chris
