Brian, I leave no emails unanswered, not sure why I haven't got it. Got it this time, I will respond shortly. |

Hi,
I have been waiting for a response to my email from back on November 1st, but still have not received one. I never did get an answer from the first email I sent before that either. maybe I'm sending it to the wrong address. I'll try again just in case. |

BrianW45, please email me, and I will provide you a link to the latest version of GDM that should work with spaces. I say "should" since I need your help to test it. |

Unfortunately changing my password isn't going to help because it's one of the password rules I use that it has to contain a space.
How long will it take to implement a fix for having a blank in the password? |

Brian, you are completely right... Blank space does present a problem when sent through a HTTP GET variable, as is the case in API.
Unfortunately I don't have a quick solution for this - the fastest workaround would be for you to change your ebay password. Be careful if you do that, as you will invalidate all the pending snipes (do an export first from the settings page, and then import when you log in to Gixen with your new password). |

Brian, I can't remember ever receiving an email from you, please re- send. I never ignore emails, and usually respond the same day. |

I don't have an email address for Mario (Unless it's the support(at) one which I already sent the request to several days ago), but it's no secret, the "special character" is a blank space.

Hi,
I also have this same error, my username is BrianW45 and I also have a "special Character" in my password.
I have version 1.1.1 installed, but still continue to get the same error. Is it possible that you aren't handling the "special character" that I am using. If not, can you add it and let me know when I should download a new copy?
Thanks

It's your browser cache. Clear the cache and download it again. |

Well, I can't figure out what's going on. I have deleted the GDM, re-downloaded and installed it, and it still says 1.1.0. I searched for duplicate .dll files, found two and deleted them, did the download and install again, and it's still 1.1.0.
Nothing seems to work. I downloaded it at work, and, sure enough, it's 1.1.1.
But at home, no matter what I do, it keeps coming up 1.1.0.
Any more ideas? |

Something must have gone wrong with either your deletion of the old version or the downloading and extract of the new one... because I downloaded it earlier today from the normal link and it definitely tells me that it is now version 1.1.1 |

Mario,
I've tried deleting the original installation of the Desktop Manager, re-downloading and installing it, but it keeps telling me that it's version 1.1.0. Any idea why I'm not getting 1.1.1? |

You are talking about Gixen Desktop Manager, not API.
Found the problem (it was related to a special character in your password). Please re-download GDM (the version now is 1.1.1), and try again. Let me know if it works OK now. |

My user name is arken. I can log into the web interface fine. When I try the API, at the bottom of the screen, it says something like "Fetching snipes from Gixen main," then it gives me that error message. |

Please post here or email me your username (not password!). Can you log in to the web interface without problems? |

When trying to log on to the API, I keep getting the error message "Could not get item list, API returned: ERROR (101): COULD NOT LOG IN." I've checked and rechecked my user name and password, but I'm still getting the same error. I'm running Windows7, 64 bit, if that makes any difference. |
