My Ebay-Username contains an * (like john*doe)
When it generates the popup window for Gixen, this character is
submitted as '%2A' (john%2Adoe)

Can you please change that, so the character isn't altered?
Atm I have to manually change the name for correct function with Gixen.

Un-install all versions of autosnipe on your system and re-install this script and should fix it. Keith

Hi, I am new to using Autosnipe for Firefox but most times when browsing EBAY I get request to update script even though it has been updated.
Is there a fix for this?

Yes that's correct you will get a pop-up for update when script is updated to inform of a new version.

Does 'Auto-update' mean that future updates will automatically be applied without the need for a manual exercise to re-install by the user?

PostPosted: Thu Nov 04, 2010 4:59 am    Post subject: trying to use ebay autosnipe script in Opera using cited mod

Could someone point this newbie to some instructions as to how to install the ebay script linked to here?
      - I'd like to try & see if the edit cited by bobby in the thread "Gixen add-ons for Firefox and IE released"
      (...viewtopic.php?p=13580#13580)

      ..change //cgi.ebay.tld/* to: //cgi.ebay.*

would get it to work in Opera.

I've installed GreaseMonkey & the original script cited - the Gixen icon appears in my IE8, though I've not tried it, 'cos I use Opera, as IE8 refuses to save ebay auction pages correctly (a different debate I don't want to get sidelined into).

I've filed the V1.2.3 script as a .js file, with the // heading start - but I don't know how to use it - I presume the mod cited would need editing the // header (which I can do), but after that I start to get lost ...

      Advice welcomed !
