Thanks Mario and Mark,
Yes I have seen that - I had a lot of SMB packets flooding the network here and now that I have sorted that then everything works smoothly including the Gixen application.

Eddie, all Gixen is using is HTTP and HTTPS requests to Gixen and eBay. Most firewalls allow this by default.

OK thanks for that Cupid.
I have another problem that has just developed with the program - I get a socket 10060 error - then I end the process.
Is there a port that I have to open on the Router to allow the program to access the 'far end'??

Eddie,

No, generally you allow Gixen to do all the bidding at the end of the auction.

You should ensure that the value you enter on Gixen is the maximum that you are prepared to bid and pay (if you win).

Hi and thanks for a great program which I have just started to use.

Just a new user question!

Say I want to buy something on eBay and other bidders have bidded on this item but I want to get it at the end (snipe)

Do I have to place a small 'leading up' bid to get Gixen going or am I missing something?

Thanks & Regards
Eddie
