It does seem that password changes trigger eBay to be more vigilant about where you are logging in for a short time... I would advise not sniping for a few days after changing your password... from what others have said there seems to be a time limit on those extra checks so a period of only logging in to eBay from the computer on which you set your password seems to help.

Hi for the past few weeks, whenever I try to snipe an item, I get an email from ebay saying:

"We've detected some unusual activity on your eBay account, and it looks like your password may have become known to a third party. In order to protect you and your eBay account we've reset your password and Secret Question (password hint)."

It's really annoying because I changed my password about 10 times now. I realise what the issue is, but is there any way to work around it?
