victorkiam,

As I implied on an earlier response on this thread, often these measures are temporary actions taken by Ebay against your account and do not persist for more than a few days.

Unfortunately no guarantee can be give that the measures will never re-occur.

I'm having the same problem. There are no special characters in my ebay ID and I haven't changed my ebay password. I've tried different browsers, and changed my user agent to the Googlebot one, and a Chrome incognito session, and rebooting my PC. I am using my home PC, which is the one I always use for Gixen.

I posted this problem but it's gone now - a big thank you to whoever fixed it.

Can you tell is which special characters cause you issues?

Can you also state where they cause problems, the Gixen Desktop Manager, a desktop browser (which one?) or a mobile/tablet browser (again which one?) or somewhere else, I have not thought of?

You may not be able to post them here... if not, please send the characters (not the whole password) via email to the support address given on the 'Contact' tab above.

If your log in problems persist, you may find you get a faster and more tailored response if you email the support address given on the Contact tab above... always include your Ebay id, but never your password in such emails.

This is likely a coincidence - I don't think this problem is caused by presence of special characters, this has long been fixed. Please email me with your username and I will investigate.

It means that the credentials are not properly encoded (url encode method) before being sent to eBay. It is GIXEN fault that can easily be fixed.

Hello Karen, I change my password on Ebay removing all special characters then I was able to log in. If you have any special charcters it's may be a solution. Hope it helps

I cannot log in. It is telling me I have the wrong information, but it is correct. I log in to eBay with the same. I have tried both browsers (Explorer & Chrome). Neither work. eBay works fine. Thank you for your assistance.
