Unfortunately timeouts are now more common than ever. At this point I still don't fully understand why, but it's obvious that the problem is on ebay's side.

I got the same message today as well. The item was #142001906163. My bid was almost 10X as much. I guess I'll use the mirror service from now on.

Yes, "won from elsewhere" can be caused by win on the mirror.

I got the same message "auction ended early or snipe late" on my regular Gixen but my Mirror won it. I had previously changed my mirror to 8 seconds as Cupid had suggested. I don't know if that is what helped it win but maybe, as Cupid recommended, it is a good idea to put 8 seconds on Mirror.

I also got a different strange message today on a different snipe that said "item won from elsewhere" on my regular Gixen, but Mirror had won it. So, Mirror was the "elsewhere". I don't snipe or bid from any other "elsewhere" places. Only use Gixen.

Multiple timeouts happened, which caused this snipe to be fail. The failure rate today was significantly higher than normal, at around 3%. This seems to be all caused by something on ebay's side. At this point I am not sure what was going on.

My bid was $14.71 above winning bid. Winning bid within last 4 seconds, so wasn't ended early. I have used Gixen several times successfully, but this time was a failure. Do you know what happened? Thank you for your time. Regards, Paul
