| OK, I think that we may have found the cause of the failure.
The reason that Grouped snipes are never Mirrored is that: a> By definition the items are replaceable by one another, but, more significantly; b> The complications of trying to implement an efficient cancellation system between two servers that are remote from one another, which is necessary for any grouping algorithm, whilst also keeping those servers independent of one another, which is necessary for the sake of reliability of the service, are just too great to make it possible. |

| 1. Yes, it was grouped.
2. Sorry, I dont quite understand the those are never Mirrored? part. I used the default '6 Offset, 6 Mirror' option and Group 1. But if I click the Gixen Mirror - Miami tab, I dont see anything (Gixen Main - Chicago still has 7 others in the same group). 3. The failed listing ended on Wednesday August 30 at 9 pm PDT (main server failure was between Wed Aug 30 11:14:27 2017 PDT and Thu Aug 31 06:59:15 2017 PDT. As it does not say am or pm, I assume it was 24 hour format and if that is the case, yes, my bid was during that time.. and that possibly is the reason!!! | Odd for the Mirror not to show anything, was it a Grouped snipe, those are never Mirrored ?
Was it in the time-frame of this failure of the Main facility? |

| The status of main (Chicago) shows "HTTP TIMEOUT (77)" and Mirror (Miami) does not show anything. Max bid I kept with Gixen was $105 more than the closing bid. I scheduled it two-three days in advance and did NOT make any last minute change.

| My bid did did not got placed yesterday. My max was $100 more than the winning bid. Looks like Gixen did not snipe at all. And I am a paid member, so I guess I had/have the mirror option too as backup. Never happened such things before.
