I just checked the log file, and GMX mail server declined the email because it's on the black list. Subsequently I found that out of 100 different lists or so, the only one on which Gixen is blacklisted is SPFBL. There is, however, no feedback loop to remove it, either on GMX or on SPFBL. The only thing that can remove it is time - 7 days or so.
I do wonder, however, who marked Gixen mail as spam and caused this. Gixen never sent a single spam message, or even anything that could be remotely seen as spam.
In the meantime, you can complain to GMX - they are certainly able to change their policies or at least allow users to mark email from certain senders as safe. |

If you have that option enabled on your settings page, you have a Mirror subscription and are not getting the emails please contact Mario direct via email as indicated in my last post. |

One of the most recent discussions about this is here.
The best advice appears to be to contact Mario direct via email at the support address given on the Contact tab above, and provide all the details that distinguish your Gixen account. |

|
Good afternoon,
I have a recent problem logging into my gixen account - name and password were always saved on the computer, but now the options don't work anymore. There were some changes recently (if I remember correctly), and perhaps I changed the name (which was Lottobem all along), so I went with trying to reset the name - the mail address is definitely still the right one, it's the only one I use.
The reset emails never came through - I looked through the forum and realized some providers have that issue, but gmx was not on the lists, and that's my provider. Is there anything I can do to retrieve my name/password, or to help get those mails through to my address?
Thank you,
Lottobem |
