If your shipping address is explicitly stored on Ebay as being in Italy, and is not a PO Box, then it's something that is best taken up with Ebay directly.

Gixen doesn't access your shipping address, so it certainly can't do anything with it that would result in your snipes failing, or even be able to warn you that they might fail in certain circumstances.

The status that Gixen displays is a reflection of what is returned by Ebay when Gixen tries to submit the bid... so if there is a fault it must be on Ebays side.

If you contact Ebay direct it is fine to report that the bid came via the API and Gixen since that might help them to track down where the problem is. It would also be useful if you could report back what they say as it might help others with getting Ebay to fix this for you and for the whole community.

Hi all.
This morning the object number 114126813844 expired without by bid. Otherwise, I probably would have won the auction.
The gixen status was "AUCTION RESTRICTED: SHIPPING ADDRESS COUNTRY RESTRICTED", which is simply absurd. The seller explicitly lists Italy among the countries where shipping is possible via the Ebay Global Shipping Program.
This casts some doubts on the reliability of Gixen, and it is very annoying to think that this could happen again for more important auctions.
What happened?
