At 9.51 AM Pacific time, Gixen shows me current price = 224.50 USD whereas it is only $61 on ebay at this time.
Could it be because bids were that high before and the seller cancelled those bids...? |

| Yes, there was a retracted bid of 222, you can see it in the bid history. Even though it was retracted, it was not a high bid at the moment, so the current price jumped to 222 + bid increment. |

Everything Mario said is correct, but it's strange that the high bidder bid after the bidder who retracted. Why would someone retract a bid after being outbid? Unless, it's a case of bid shielding...

True, that is strange. There was still around 45 minutes left between retraction and auction end, so it does not look like bid shielding. |

The high bidder is now no longer registered. I suspect that it was an auction wrecking, perhaps the bidder had one of their own for sale at that time, or had a grudge against the seller for some other reason.
