Don't understand why i lost this auction

Hi , I do not understand why I lost this ebay auction. The item number was 222588145778. Please let me know what I did wrong or was the gixen site not operational when the bid went off.

Did your bid appear, even though you did not win?

The question is if the bid went through or didn't. I have lost auctions even though gixen made it through and the winning bidder wasn't online for days.

What was the status that Gixen gave the snipe after the auction had completed ?

The winning bid was $152. I entered into gixen a high bid of 201.98. At that level (only in the $100-/200 range) the bidding should only be $2 increments. Thus, either gixen failed to place the bid or something strange happened.

That may well be the case... but there are other reasons why Ebay might refuse the bid...

So, to move this forward, please can you answer my question.

My apology - there was a Gixen problem around that time that caused this to happen. The error message is erroneous. My apology again.
