| I was charged twice in August for my Gixen account. I have had two usernames at different times, but now I only have one. My username is justice. I no longer use the other username, which is tbuckgolf. Please refund for the tbuckgolf. If that is not possible, please just remove tbuckgolf as one of my usernames. Thank you. David Buckingham |

OK David,
As mentioned on this forum, whenever this subject is raised... there's a lot more that you can do for yourself.
Gixen doesn't request money, it is sent by the payment processor (usually Paypal) on the schedule that you agree to when you sign up for a subscription. So you can cancel all future payments on any subscription simply by cancelling it with the payment processor.
If you can't find the subscription on your account with them, and you can still log in to your unused Gixen account, you should see links below the first section of the Settings page that lead you back to where the payments came from, and that should also help you to track down how to cancel future ones.
You also have the option to transfer a subscription between Gixen accounts using the Transfer your mirror subscription section of the Settings page (further down). Granted that will result in you having more subscription time on the account that you use than you need, but at least it stops you wasting it in a Gixen account that you no longer use.
As for refunds, you'll need to contact Mario direct via email at the support address given on the Contact page, please include details of the Gixen account ids and payments that you'd like refunded in exchange for a reduction of the subscription that you've over paid for. I would urge you to sort things out as much as you are able before doing that though, using the suggestions I've provided above.
Please also note that it is probably not possible for Mario to refund payments that were made more than six months ago, so you're probably still in time for the August payments, but if you leave it too much longer you may not be able to recover those funds. _________________ Mark |
