outbid but NO bid put in and at LESS than my bid

i was outbid for ebay item = 280221041582

winning bid was 68.66 gbp

mine was 91.99 gbp

but NO sign of my snipe/bid going thru !! ;( and i lost again

this is the 2nd time it has happened to me !

do u know what the problem is ??

Hmm,

There was something like this a few months ago in the US... where eBay was preventing tickets from being sold at above face value - this was an anti-touting measure to coform with state law.

I'm just wondering if eBay have introduced the same measure in the UK... Mario may be able to look at the logs and see.

Now I have to find out how was in the world this screen recognized as "OUTBID". Sorry for your lost auction, and again thank you for reporting it.

Found the problem, this screen contained a hidden "you've been outbid message". This is fixed now, sorry for the lost auction and thank you for reporting the problem.
