sometimes, you want to bid on an item (using only Ebay) and a message tells you that you can't bid because your registration adress is not accepted buy the seller.
To be able to bid, you need to change your registration adress, then you can bid.
But with sniping, you can't know if the seller will accept your country as a bidder, and often you can loose good auctions because Gixen couldn't bid.
Some people might said you can bid just 5 ct to see if you are able to bid, but sometimes there are bids at 0 that people looks and say : "wow nobody bid on it, it must not be a good auction", and if you bid on it, you might also change other bidders' mind
would there be a way to know if the seller restricts the bidders' country ?
thanks |

The simplest way is to ask the seller.
The other way is to bid and then retract. However, if you do retraction too often -- this is the other way to restrict your from bidding. |

I don't know why you think it's impossible.
Here is a help system from eBay regarding bid retraction. Please read it and understand. You will find a link at the end of reading:

That's why I suggested to ask the seller first. |
