I received this message when entering a snipe: "This snipe may have been entered too late into Gixen and may not be executed." The auction had 22 hours remaining.
How much in advance must snipes be entered? |

| The auction number is #140172453549, and the snipe has now been accepted. It could have been that I failed to enter a bid before trying to add it. Sorry. |

Yes I think you are right I think, from experience, that it is possible to get this message due to an incorrectly formatted amount in the bid field.
