Recently I have been unable to place bids and get the message \"EBAY ERROR: PURCHASE LIMIT EXCEEDED\". What does this mean? |

This error comes from eBay, it may mean that you have a new account. Please email me with your username and item id, and I will provide you with more information, and then you can contact eBay to lift these limits. |

Yes, to me this sounds like a limit that Ebay has applied when they require more identity or payment information in order to verify the account to make more major purchases.
It might also be an idea to place a few manual bids to see if that prompts them to directly ask you for the information they are seeking. Most often that's a one time thing, so once they have the information registered against your account hopefully you can go back to sniping as usual without any such restrictions. _________________ Mark |
