Ebay item 250241931878. Had snipe set up. Didn't bid. Eventaully told me I was out bid although no bid on item which remains unsold. |

Hm, you are right, this looks very unusual. According to Gixen logs, this bid was placed and I can't see anything unusual. Unfortunately, I don't have the entire bid flow saved - I will have to turn on some debugging and wait for this to happen again in order to see where the problem is. I'm sorry for your lost auction . |

Nothing at all. I found the problem (and fixed it). eBay has an intermediary screen in this flow that, for some reason only known to ebay, contains a hidden "you've been outbid" message among others. It's completely retarded, I don't see why they this phrase should be there (email me if interested in more details).
I've made some changes now to handle this situation and this shouldn't happen again, unless some new changes are introduced. Sorry for your lost auction, this was impossible to predict. |
