Sign-in not valid

Two bids I placed were not sniped, the reason given being "sign-in not valid". Have since discovered that ebay needed a stronger password, which caused the sniping failure, but did not trigger a notice to sign in anew on Gixen, or did I miss on instruction somewhere?

Sorry about your missed snipes. The fact is - eBay may still allow you to log in normally with a weak password, and only occasionally insert captcha-s.

So it's quite possible that you were able to log in to Gixen at the time you scheduled your snipes, and Gixen was unable to log in afterwards to place them.

Plus, if Gixen authenticates you successfully against ebay servers with one username/password combination, it will never do that again when logging in, as long as you use the same password. This measure was necessary to prevent many too many login calls to eBay, which looked suspicious to eBay in the past and caused problems for Gixen.

To conclude - choose a very strong password once, and avoid all these issues in the future.
