Gixen provided a status of 'OUTBID', I presume?
You can see from the time stamps you have given that the winning bid was placed at 14:58:11 AEDST, so over 20 minutes before yours at 15:21:51 AEDST, the winning bid was higher than yours, that is how eBay works, the highest bid placed during the auction wins, sniping can not change that no matter what offset you set.
Bidding at the very end of the auction only protects you from other bidders reacting to your bid. _________________ Mark |

Yes... any number of bids can be placed after a bid and be placed lower in the bidding list if they are of a lower value. eBay does not order the bids in the order that they were placed, but in numerical order low to high.
So later bids will not appear above earlier ones unless they are also of a greater value. _________________ Mark |
