Hi for the past few weeks, whenever I try to snipe an item, I get an email from ebay saying:
"We've detected some unusual activity on your eBay account, and it looks like your password may have become known to a third party. In order to protect you and your eBay account we've reset your password and Secret Question (password hint)."
It's really annoying because I changed my password about 10 times now. I realise what the issue is, but is there any way to work around it?

It does seem that password changes trigger eBay to be more vigilant about where you are logging in for a short time... I would advise not sniping for a few days after changing your password... from what others have said there seems to be a time limit on those extra checks so a period of only logging in to eBay from the computer on which you set your password seems to help. _________________ Mark
